Paul Olvera

I’ve been lucky to have had co-ops at Mead/Acco Brands, Wrigley, and SpiceFire where I worked with a wide variety of international brands.
My capstone in a nut shell: I’m creating a 3D printed frame for an electric moped that uses minimal material, prints fast, and is customizable for the rider/owner.

DAAP is actually my second (technically third) college and I wanted to open restaurants before I realized design could be a profession.
I’ve always been into making stuff, fixing stuff, driving stuff, and going places. I’ve breathed life back into some mopeds, spent 5 days out in the Icelandic wilderness, and I can make a mean PB&J. Talk to me! I don’t mind going into details.

Challenge leads to Discovery.
